While Housing Justice! is primarily concerned with housing in Colorado, we are nevertheless committed to addressing major national issues.  The federal government plays a significant role in the affordable housing world.  Given its Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and all its other programs that serve low and middle income wage earners, the policy decisions and actions of the U.S. government must not be ignored.  This part of our website features what we consider to be the most pressing national issues relating to matters of social justice.  The information presented here will be updated on a regular basis and will feature links for more information.

Summary of FY07 Joint Funding Resolution, H.J. Res.20

 The House, on January 31, and the Senate, on February 14, passed the FY07 funding resolution, H.J. Res. 20.... The details of the resolution are good news for housing advocates, particularly in the areas of  Housing Choice Vouchers, Project-Based Section 8 and Public Housing.
