Adams County Housing Authority - assists individuals, families, seniors and persons with disabilities throughout all of Adams County, to provide affordable, quality housing while supporting their efforts to achieve economic self-sufficiency and future homeownership.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless - is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to work collaboratively toward the prevention and elimination of homelessness through education, advocacy, and improved services for the homeless.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless: Learn Fair Housing - Learn about your rights under the law as a homeowner or renter, recognize and learn what you can do about fair housing discrimination and report complaints of discrimination on their hotline.

Colorado Division of Housing - is a division of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs which provides financial assistance and services that increase the availability of housing to residents of Colorado who can least afford it.  The Division of Housing distributes federal funds and state funds, when available. 

Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA)- A public enterprise working to finance affordable housing, business and economic growth opportunities for Colorado.  CHFA offers financing for home ownership mortgages to qualifying low- and moderate-income Colorado individuals and families, as well as rental housing loans for new construction and rehabilitation of existing rental units.  CHFA also administers the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

Colorado Housing Investment Fund - Housing Justice! is a member of a coalition working to establish a dedicated and dependable source of public revenue for the preservation and creation of affordable housing opportunities.

Council for Affordable and Rural Housing - A resource for non-profits working in the affordable housing field, affordable housing owners, developers and managers. Represents the needs and advocates for the rural housing industry.

Housing Colorado!- is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to making affordable housing a reality for all low and moderate income individuals and families in Colorado through education, networking, increased public awareness and advocacy.  Housing Justice! is an organizational member of Housing Colorado!

Housing Denver - is a broad-based coalition of more than 40 organizations working to create support for high-quality affordable housing for low and moderate income Denver residents.

Interfaith Housing Network (IHN) of Greater Denver - IHN's mission is to enable an interfaith and community response to families who become homeless by providing shelter, meals, comprehensive assistance and encouragement toward self reliance in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.  Partnering congregations provide overnight lodging and meals for three to five families on a rotating basis every week.  IHN of Greater Denver has two day sites that serve as the families' "home-base" while they are in the program. 

Millennial Housing Commission - a federal commission formed to identify, analyze, and develop recommendations that highlight the importance of housing, improve the housing delivery system, and provide affordable housing for the American people, including recommending possible legislative and regulatory initiatives.

National Housing Trust - is a national, nonprofit organization formed to preserve and improve affordable multifamily homes for low and moderate income use.  The Trust saves multifamily properties at risk of conversion to market rate housing and resolves the problems of "troubled" properties that suffer from physical deterioration and financial and social distress.

National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC)- Established in 1974, the National Low Income Housing Coalition is dedicated solely to ending America’s affordable housing crisis.  NLIHC educates, organizes and advocates to ensure decent, affordable housing within healthy neighborhoods for everyone.  NLIHC provides up-to-date information, formulates policy, and educates the public on housing needs and the strategies for solutions.  Housing Justice! is an organizational member of NLIHC.  For the NLIHC's 2006 Advocacy Guide to Housing and Community Development Policy, please click here.

National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) - NMHC is a national association representing the interests of the nation's larger and most prominent apartment firms. NMHC advocates on behalf of rental housing, conducts apartment-related research, encourages the exchange of strategic business information, and promotes the desirability of apartment living. One-third of Americans rent their housing, and 15 percent of all U.S. households live in an apartment home.

Neighborhood Partners - Works to provide housing to low-income families utilizing volunteers and donated materials to those otherwise unable to find affordable housing in the Denver area.  With the newly added program called Renewal, some of the same volunteers and donated materials are used to provide assistance to low-income homeowners with residential upkeep.

The Campaign for Affordable Housing - is a national organization with the sole purpose of educating Americans about the benefits of affordable housing as a community asset and working to mobilize public support for housing programs.

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) - Has information on buying, selling, renting and owning homes. Has a service to find low-income living options for every state, and has an online form for housing discrimination compliments. Allows application for HUD Grants, contracts and programs and provides links to look for HUD housing.
